Youll join a growing specializedCPA firm in Wakefield, MA with a diverse client base and the chance to broaden your technical depth across multiple entity types. This is a great opportunity to establish yourself. We have worked with candidates who have been subsequently promoted to Supervisor and Manager roles within the firm.

Hybrid Work Arrangement: In-office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday; remote Monday/Friday
Compensation: $95,000$105,000 base salary + annual bonus

Responsibilities

Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and individual income tax returns
Support tax planning for corporate and individual clients
Assist with federal and state tax notice resolution
Conduct tax research and support special projects
Provide bookkeeping support as needed
Support management with additional duties as assigned

Credentials

Bachelors degree required (Accounting)
CPA license preferred; CPA candidates strongly welcomed
Advanced degree preferred

Required Qualifications

3 - 5 years of public or private tax accounting experience
Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
Strong communication skills (written+ verbal)
Organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused
Working knowledge of:
- QuickBooks
- ProSystem fx Tax
- Advanced in Excel
