ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our Client is a high-quality, growing CPA firm located in Houstons Galleria area. With an expanding tax practice, they are seeking a skilled tax professional to join their team and contribute to the firms continued success. ABOUT THE ROLE The Tax Senior will play a key role in providing tax compliance and consulting services across a variety of areas, including individual, corporate, partnership, and international taxation. The role also includes exposure to tax provisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys client service, mentoring staff, and helping build a growing tax practice.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, individual, and international tax returns.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to a diverse client base.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and development support.
- Assist in building and expanding the firms tax practice.
- Collaborate with partners and managers to deliver high-quality client service.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
- CPA license preferred, or active progress toward certification.
- 36 years of tax experience, with at least 1+ year supervising staff.
- Strong technical tax experience within a CPA firm environment.
- Demonstrated client service orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
