Job Description

St. Joan of Arc School, located in Aberdeen, MD, is seeking a fullâtime, qualified Math and Science teacher. The Math and Science teacher will serve as a fullâtime instructor for our 4th and 5th grade Catholic school. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standardsâbased lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a fullâtime, benefitâeligible, 10âmonth teaching position.

Essential Functions

Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.
Integrate technology into the classroom.
Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner.
Collaborate with school administrators, teacher, parents, and community member in educating students.

Position Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
Current or pending MSDE certification.
Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.

Range: $50,000 - $55,000 Annualized
