Job Description
Urgent Hiring.We are looking for dynamic tutors to teach ELA at a local Dayton school during the school day, hours and days may vary. This Is Not a Remote Position. You MUST have a bachelor's degree, at a minimum. You will be employed by Huntington Learning Center. Position Details:
- Part-Time: 20-35 hours a week, Tuesday through Saturday, hours and days may vary based on school schedule.
- Duration: May 2026 through July 2026.
- Location: Dunbar High School, Dayton, OH.
- High School-aged students, English Language Arts.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior teaching and/or tutoring experience preferred.
- Valid teaching certificate preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- With Bachelor's Degree: From $28.00 per hour.
- With valid Teaching Certification: From $30.00 per hour.
- Bonus potential.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum.
- Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
- Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
- Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
- Administer baseline tests at established intervals.

- Possess basic computer operating knowledge.
