Work Arrangement- Onsite

Shift: 2nd Shift, Sunday-Wednesday 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Full time permanent position, overtime available.

What you'll do

  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of a production team of 5 operators and technicians on the 2nd shift to meet daily manufacturing goals. Train, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork on the shop floor.

  • Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues. Collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve operational challenges efficiently.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance production efficiency and quality.

  • Documentation: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, downtime, and quality metrics to ensure transparency and continuous monitoring of production performance.

  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily production floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met.

  • Success Metrics: Success will be measured by meeting production targets, maintaining high safety standards, improving team performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal to no travel required for this onsite role.

What you'll bring

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • MIG Welding experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset

  • Computer literacy for tracking and reporting production metrics

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

  • Previous experience leading small teams (around 5 members)

  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in manufacturing environments

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic production setting
