Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) with current NYS registration.

Experience:

  • At least one year providing direct services to individuals with mental disabilities.
  • At least one year providing clinical supervision or consultation.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Maintenance of LMSW/LCSW licensure and registration required.

Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Location Requirement: Onsite

Compensation: $74,263

About the Role

The Team Leader/Social Worker supervises case managers, ensures quality clinical services, and coordinates interventions to support shelter residents toward stabilization and housing placement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to case managers.
  • Model trauma-informed, recovery-oriented engagement.
  • Facilitate case conferences and support evidence-based interventions.
  • Train staff in independent living skills and clinical best practices.
  • Oversee clinical quality and integrity of independent living planning.
  • Participate in Supported Housing Task Force initiatives.
  • Organize information for the Mayor's Safety Hub and participate in risk discussions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
