Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) with current NYS registration.
Experience:
- At least one year providing direct services to individuals with mental disabilities.
- At least one year providing clinical supervision or consultation.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Maintenance of LMSW/LCSW licensure and registration required.
Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Work Location Requirement: Onsite
Compensation: $74,263

About the Role
The Team Leader/Social Worker supervises case managers, ensures quality clinical services, and coordinates interventions to support shelter residents toward stabilization and housing placement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation and guidance to case managers.
- Model trauma-informed, recovery-oriented engagement.
- Facilitate case conferences and support evidence-based interventions.
- Train staff in independent living skills and clinical best practices.
- Oversee clinical quality and integrity of independent living planning.
- Participate in Supported Housing Task Force initiatives.
- Organize information for the Mayor's Safety Hub and participate in risk discussions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
