Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top talent. We are currently seeking a Team Relations Specialist for a client within the Automotive Manufacturing industry.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Team Relations Specialist for a client within the automotive manufacturing industry. This position plays a key role in supporting hourly team members throughout the employee life cycle, from recruiting and onboarding through employee relations, performance management, and separation. The ideal candidate will be a trusted resource for employees and leaders, helping resolve workplace concerns, conducting confidential investigations, supporting engagement initiatives, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
Responsibilities
Support employee relations by addressing team member concerns, workplace conflicts, complaints, and other employment-related issues.
Conduct timely and confidential investigations, including employee interviews, fact-finding, documentation review, and analysis of available information.
Coach and guide leaders on corrective action, progressive discipline, attendance, performance management, documentation, communication, and professionalism.
Partner with Human Resources leadership to ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, employment practices, and applicable state and federal requirements.
Support recruiting, interviewing, new-hire onboarding, orientation, introductory-period evaluations, and the employee termination and exit interview process.
Facilitate employee engagement, recognition programs, company events, communication initiatives, surveys, and morale-building activities.
Maintain accurate and highly confidential employee records while providing a consistent presence and employee support on the manufacturing floor.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Team Relations; manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience within an automotive production or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, HR practices, employee relations, and workplace policies.
Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal, written, listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships, collaborate effectively, influence others, and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; SAP/ERP experience strongly preferred.
Compensation
$60 -$70k based on experience
