suites 4 procedure suites, 1 gastric lab, 1 HRA room

Ratios 1 GI tech per roomRequired Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS,Required Duties Assist in procedure room with patient positioning, specimen collection, bedside precleaning of scopes, scope set up and break down, restockingCommon Cases EGDs, colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies. Can also assist in gastric lab with esophageal motility studies if experienced, but not necessaryExperience or 'Must have' skills at least 1 year of previous GI tech experience.Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Charge nurse staffed daily.Are there techs or nurse aids in this department N/A - ambulatory environmentRT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) N/AShifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 1.0 FTE is four 10 hour shifts. Self-scheduling for permanent team members. Schedule confirmed 6 weeks in advance, so first part of contract would be set with some flexibility later.Weeknight/Call Requirements N/AWeekend/Call Requirements N/AHoliday/Call Requirements N/AWhat is call response time? N/AFloating Requirements rare floating possible to Federal Way, Bellevue, or Lynnwood.Scrub Color/Dress Code procedural scrubs provided onsite.Unit/Department specific orientation Orient with an experienced GI tech until can prove competency.Additional NotesAdditional Questions
