Job Description
A 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM serves the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah and handles a broad mix of trauma cases including Level I and II cases flown in due to the facility's regional location. The medical center operates two CT scanners on the main campus and one at an outpatient center, alongside a comprehensive suite of services that includes a childbirth center, cancer center, inpatient behavioral health unit, pediatric unit, nephrology unit, and day surgery center. The facility holds PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditations and is situated in the San Juan River Valley, roughly an hour from Durango, CO.The role. This CT/Radiologic Technologist position works within the imaging department, performing CT imaging and general radiography across an all-ages patient population using GE CT scanners (64-slice, 32-slice, and 16-slice) and documenting within Cerner EHR. The technologist will regularly manage trauma imaging cases, assist with CT-guided biopsies, and perform CT drainage procedures reflecting the department's high-acuity, regionally unique patient volume. Strong cross-training in general radiography is expected alongside CT specialization.What we're looking for.
- ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care CT/radiography experience, with demonstrated experience in trauma imaging, CT-guided biopsies, and CT drainage procedures
- New Mexico or Compact state licensure not required at time of application; must be obtained prior to start date
- BLS required at time of submission
