This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment with long-term career potential.We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimal downtime.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsRespond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtimeInspect machinery and identify potential maintenance issuesPerform equipment setup and assist with production changeoversMaintain maintenance logs and repair documentation accuratelyEnsure all equipment operates safely and efficientlySupport installation of new equipment and machinery upgradesFollow safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Maintain clean and organized maintenance and production areasReport food safety and food quality concerns to authorized personnel immediatelyAssist production teams and complete additional duties as assignedMaintenance Technician Requirements:Previous Maintenance Technician experience in manufacturing requiredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills requiredExperience with packaging or production equipment preferredKnowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systemsAbility to use hand and power tools safelyBasic computer and documentation skills requiredAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the shiftMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs as neededComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentImportant Dress Code & GMP Rules:Full-length pants required (no shorts)No tank tops, crop tops, cut-off shirts, or t-shirtsNo earrings, necklaces, or facial piercingsOnly plain wedding bands allowed (no stones)No fake eyelashes, fake nails, or nail polishNo food or drinks allowed on the production floorWater bottles and water coolers are provided onsiteApply today to start your career with a company that offers long-term growth and opportunity!Associate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by calling the Department s Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at 1-877-314-7052 or email at DOL.DayLabor@illinois.gov.
