Job Details
We are seeking an Associate to join a Technology, Communications, and Media practice focused on regulatory, legislative, and litigation matters affecting communications and technology clients. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working at the intersection of law, policy, and emerging technologies and who is comfortable handling both regulatory and litigation‑related work.
The position offers exposure to matters before federal agencies and courts, along with opportunities to support clients on compliance, advocacy, and transactional issues.
What You’ll Do
Research and draft pleadings and filings before federal regulatory agenciesDraft motions, briefs, and other submissions in federal court mattersSupport discovery efforts and prepare for depositionsAssist with regulatory strategy and advocacy to help clients achieve legislative and policy objectivesAdvise on regulatory compliance issues affecting communications and technology businessesSupport due diligence efforts in connection with transactionsCollaborate closely with colleagues across matters and disciplines
What We’re Looking For
JD or LLM from an ABA‑accredited law schoolAdmitted or eligible for admission in the District of ColumbiaStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent written and oral communication abilitiesProfessionalism in working with clients and colleaguesAbility to manage competing deadlines and prioritiesHighly organized, detail‑oriented, and collaborative team player
