Job Description

SUMMARY The Technical Accounting Manager position serves as a strategic finance leader, driving high-impact initiatives that strengthen the financial foundation of the Kraft Sports Group. This role will have a focus on technical accounting for complex transactions, financial statement consolidation, treasury and cash management, and delivering actionable insights through financial analysis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage investment and debt strategies and related technical accounting.
  • Provide expertise in complex accounting areas including debt, investments, consolidation, and other specialized transactions.
  • Manage monthly/quarterly close processes, including preparing and analyzing reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements for all technical accounting matters.
  • Develop and monitor cash flow projection, ensuring liquidity and optimizing working capital.
  • Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity management, projecting future cash needs and aligning with financing strategies.
  • Conduct and execute financial analyses, modeling, projects and reporting internally and across multiple departments, advising senior leadership on trends and insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate financial systems and processes, recommending improvements to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities; Manage and oversee implementation of new systems, ensuring proper integration and process efficiency.
  • Support the audit process and assist with compiling documentation for compliance and reporting, draft financial statements and related footnote disclosures.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred
  • 5 years of general accounting/finance experience, including exposure to treasury and technical accounting
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and excel
