Job Title: Technical - Electronic Lab Technician (Hardware Engineering Lab Technician) Request ID: 2431-1Duration: One year contract with extension Location: Santa Clara, CA Bill Rate: $55.74 Hourly OTCAJob Description: The lab infrastructure services engineer is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Multi Business Engineering(MBE) product labs. The person in this contract position is expected to have a deep understanding of data center management, Perform various tasks on different projects of MBE Engineering labs.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position's primary focus, at this time, will be to support MBE R&D labs located in Santa Clara.
• Product labs support and on building, enhance, and maintain highly available infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently or as a team on repetitive physical tasks without direct supervision after initial on-the-job training on tasks as outlined below:
• Install, configure, and maintain lab-specific hardware and software applications and tools used by research teams.
• Document HW setups, and best practices for knowledge sharing and reference.
• Removal of end-of-life hardware from engineering labs
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration and troubleshooting.
• Assist in asset and HW components inventory management (GLPI) Test HW boards and server components Troubleshooting power distribution unit (PDU) and network switch related issues Should be flexible to work with remote teams in India to debug any lab-related issues.
• General housekeeping of labs
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Focus: SysAdmin / Lab Operations (Linux-heavy) Primary Role:

• Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat)
• Server deployment & configuration (Client's boards)
• Network troubleshooting within lab
• Support lab infrastructure & connectivity

Technical Skills:

• Strong Linux background required
• Some Windows experience (install/debug)
• Understanding of server connectivity & cabling

Overlap Work:

• Will still perform racking & stacking when needed (shared responsibility)

Profile Fit:

• Additional Notes: ~90% Linux environment & More technical compared to 2306
