Manages requirements activities with minor direction, assists with and may lead stakeholder collaboration, and partners with the BA lead on process improvements and analysis tools. Provides guidance to less experienced analysts.

Level 3

Leads and directs complex business and application systems analysis projects. Leads stakeholder collaboration and requirements activities, designs process improvement approaches, and selects strategies and tools for business analysis. Applies advanced analysis and problem-solving skills and develops less experienced analysts.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Research, analyze, and model current and proposed business processes and systems to identify opportunities to improve operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases and detailed requirements, including project scope, cost-benefit analysis, efficiency, and feasibility.
  • Analyze application system requirements, prepare scope documents, and identify technical solutions that address business needs.
  • Present requirements and solution options to business, technical, and software quality assurance teams. Facilitate solution selection and confirm feasibility and alignment with stakeholder objectives.
  • Elicit, define, document, verify, and validate requirements to ensure accuracy. Plan and monitor requirements activities, including priorities, risks, scope and change control, and status communication to leaders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and business analysis practices, including field mappings, DevOps links to historical artifacts, and evaluation of process effectiveness.
  • Train, mentor, and support less experienced business analysts through coaching and educational opportunities.
  • Leverage AI and generative AI tools for requirements development, process and data analysis, documentation, research, and solution evaluation while ensuring accuracy, security, and alignment with organizational standards.

Qualifications
