JOB TITLE: Technical Design 3LOCATION:Everett, WAPAY RATE: $44.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

• Reviews electrical component materials and process specifications and other engineering documents used to control design, certify, and produce systems hardware.

• Identifies impacts of non-conformances associated with electrical components and corrective and preventive actions for future avoidance.

• Conducts engineering lab and failure analysis to help determine cause and corrective action of failed electrical components.

• Leads in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to future BCA products.

• Produces requirements, specifications, and other documents to manage deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes.

• Applies fundamental drafting principles to create drafted parts and product structures to support operational and quality concerns.

• Performs model definition changes based on engineering input, translating conceptual ideas into physical part geometry and assembly definition.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to solve materials and process challenges.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Associate degree and typical experience in drafting classification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic understanding and usage of computer aided design (CAD).

• Basic understanding of design product structure including details, parts, assemblies, and installations.

• Understanding in machining of metallic parts.

• 3+ years of experience working with aerospace design, including experience working with detail and assembly parts.

• CATIA or equivalent solid modeling experience.

• Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT) use and experience.

• Preferred: Problem solving, investigative, and multi-tasking skills.

• Preferred: Project management experience working with projects at various stages, coordinating with multiple organizations, and prior Liaison Engineering experience.
