Job Description

• Primary Skills: Python [advanced], Go [intermediate], AI coding assistants [advanced], CI/CD pipelines [advanced], Network hardware testing [advanced]• Contract Type: W2• Duration: 6+ months• Location: San Jose, CA. (Hybrid)• Pay Range: $50-$55/hr on W2

Summary:This role focuses on architecting and developing robust test automation infrastructure for network hardware, specifically optical transceivers, switches, and routers. You will leverage AI coding tools to build and maintain automation scripts, significantly accelerating development cycles. The ultimate goal is to enhance product validation workflows, allowing the team to concentrate on strategic testing, competitive analysis, and feature validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement test automation for network devices including architecture and CI/CD integration.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python/Go, supported by AI coding assistants.
Define and execute test strategies for product validation, stress testing, and competitive benchmarking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and communicate results.
Make architectural decisions to optimize test coverage, reliability, and execution speed.

Must-Have Skills:

Test automation framework architecture and development
Proficient scripting in Python or Go
Experience with CI/CD integration
