Technical Program Manager
We're seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our client's team in Midtown NYC. This person will drive the execution of strategic equities programs across Structured Equity Financing, Derivatives, and the broader Equities business, while also supporting key Business Transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading strategic programs across Structured Equity Financing, Derivatives, and broader Equities businesses
- Managing end-to-end program delivery, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, and status reporting
- Partnering with Front Office, Technology, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Compliance teams
- Gathering business requirements, developing BRDs, and translating needs into actionable technology roadmaps
- Driving trading system migrations, new product initiatives, and other strategic programs
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflows through automation, AI, RPA, and data analytics
- Managing multiple concurrent initiatives and proactively resolving risks and roadblocks
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in program management, business transformation, or COO functions
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end programs within Sales & Trading
- Experience working with Front Office/Trading and cross-functional business and technology teams
- Strong program management skills, including BRDs, project plans, RACI matrices, budgets, governance, and status reporting
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process improvement, automation, or workflow optimization
- Exposure to AI, RPA, and data analytics; SQL or Python is a plus
