Job Description
Duration: 12 Months ContractJob description: Client is seeking an experienced, self-directed Technical Program Manager to create and enhance the applications used to enable and support our growing Professional Services practice. This is a unique opportunity to define and design innovative processes and applications to enable the organization to scale its capabilities to help accelerate our enterprise customers' journey to the cloud. This is a high-visibility and high business impact role. Client provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure web services platform in the cloud (“cloud computing”). With Client you can requisition compute power, storage, and many other services – gaining access to a suite of elastic IT infrastructure services as your business demands them. Client is the leading platform for designing and developing applications for the cloud and is growing rapidly with millions of customers in over 190 countries. Many of these customers seek help from Client's Professional Services in their journey to a cloud-based IT operating model. Are you passionate about solving business problems through data driven decision making? In this role, you will own responsibility for one or more major process and systems areas and will partner with stakeholders to define both the near-term and long term strategy for those areas. Your recommendations, based on data, will contribute deeply to the direction of the ProServe application roadmap and will provide the right balance of quick-win efficiency gains with the longer term optimization of the business. You will work closely with the global operations and field teams to achieve business objectives and communicate insights to key stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions.
- Requirements gathering, aggregation and development.
- Design and visualization of both functional and technical solutions with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Detailed business process optimization and design.
- Invent new ways to define and measure program effectiveness and organizational productivity.
- Root cause analysis and presentation of recommendations.
- Acting as the SME for one or more functional areas and delivering training in these areas.
- Performing regular system audits to ensure complete and accurate data.
- Contributing to the writing of papers for internal audiences
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, technical program management and functional and technical systems design.
- Demonstrated proficiency in all of the following methods - data analysis/visualization, process design, stakeholder management, large systems deployments.
- Deep experience with Salesforce and/or similar CRM applications.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Proven ability to use data to qualify assumptions and recommendations
- Ability to distill, cater, and communicate complex analysis and insights to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with the Financial Force Professional Services Automation (PSA) product or other PS automation application.
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Master’s degree
- Proven ability balance competing priorities, workloads, and tight timelines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
