This full-time, on-site role is based in Birmingham, Alabama, with compensation ranging from $110,000 to $130,000. The successful candidate will manage implementation timelines, coordinate technical requirements, and serve as a primary contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced project manager who understands software and technology implementations and can coordinate technical details, including integrations, data transfers, file exchanges, configuration, and testing. The role is well suited to someone who can manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, and contribute to improving processes within an evolving organization. Position Overview Fusion HCR is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead client implementations from initial kickoff through completion. The position will establish project plans, manage milestones and deliverables, coordinate technical requirements, and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams, software vendors, and client stakeholders to keep projects on track. This role requires both strong project leadership and sufficient technical understanding to coordinate system integrations, data transfers, file exchanges, configuration, setup, and testing. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing projects in an environment where processes continue to evolve. This person will take ownership of implementation outcomes, identify risks and dependencies, resolve issues, and help strengthen project workflows and documentation as the organization grows.Key Responsibilities

• Lead client implementations from initial kickoff through launch.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary project contact for clients throughout the implementation.
• Coordinate technical requirements, system integrations, data transfers, and file exchanges.
• Partner with internal teams, software vendors, and client stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
• Assist with system configuration, setup, testing, and other implementation-related activities.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and develop solutions to keep implementations on track.
• Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of client service.
• Improve implementation processes, documentation, and project workflows.
• Adapt to changing priorities and evolving processes as the organization grows.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of project management experience; five to eight years is preferred.
• Experience managing software, technology, or system implementations.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate integrations, data transfers, or system configurations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage projects and drive them through completion.
• Comfort working in an evolving environment where processes may not be fully established.
• Experience working with larger organizations and multiple stakeholders is a plus.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.
