Technical Project/Program Management - Technical Project Manager II

Location:

Onsite: Sunnyvale, CA

Salary Range: $70 - $79/hr.

Introduction

The main function of this role is to provide successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities. This position involves program management experience in fields such as semiconductor, hardware, consumer electronics, and cameras used in consumer electronics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Camera module hardware development using NPI process
• Consumer electronics experience
• Optics and mechanical knowledge
• Semiconductor experience
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction and management, implementation planning in large organizations
• Proven people management and team building skills
• Experience with software development lifecycle

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget, and under circumstances involving multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors.
• Program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive-level management, complex issue resolution, excellent communications, and team-building skills.
• Manage a group or groups of internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors that serve on the project(s) to deliver systems and systems enhancements that meet specified requirements.
