Job Description
Location: Sunnyvale, CA / Redmond, WA
Salary Range: $110 - $120/hr.
Introduction
The main function of this role is to provide successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs requiring cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Project estimating, scheduling, and tracking
- Customer interaction and management
- Implementation planning in large organizations
- Proven people management and team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in a changing environment
- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
- Experience with software development lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required
- PMP or PMI certification
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
- Experience with strategic planning and interaction with executive level management
- Complex issue resolution and excellent communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget
- Manage a group of internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors
- Oversight of project scope definition and management
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Time estimating and project schedule development and tracking
- Project budget management and status reporting
- Issue and risk management and contingency planning
- Customer interaction and communications across multiple organizational levels
