Location: Oxford (CDP), MA Salary: $25.00 USD Hourly - $30.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist (Electrical/Electron) We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and technical assistance for IPG’s laser products. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and Field Service Engineers, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of technical issues. This job will have the following responsibilities: Provide phone-based technical support for laser products. Issue and manage RMAs; maintain accurate database records. Coordinate repair activities (warranty and non-warranty). Support pre- and post-installation activities for mid/high-power lasers. Assist in developing training modules and documentation. Manage failure analysis activities and create detailed reports. Revise work instructions, procedures, and user manuals. Qualifications & Requirements: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Background in lasers/electronics and prior customer service experience preferred. Ability to interpret technical documents and electrical schematics. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency in Microsoft Office; dependable and detail-oriented. Willingness to work after-hours/on-call and travel domestically/internationally as needed.
