PC Hardware Integration Technician

Position Summary

We are looking for an entry-level PC Hardware Integration Technician to assemble, integrate, and configure PC hardware, operating systems, and peripherals. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience with computer hardware and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate PC electronic components and related hardware.

• Install circuit boards, disk drives, mass storage devices, peripheral equipment, and other components.

• Configure PC hardware, operating system software, and peripherals.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware integration and configuration issues.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures and take appropriate action based on established processes.

• Perform basic circuit analysis, waveform calculations, fault isolation, PROM programming, and signal-flow tracing as required.

• Identify defective components and complete necessary replacement documentation.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to shipping, defective parts, build processes, and updates.

• Identify and participate in opportunities to improve processes and procedures.

• Support department goals and key performance metrics.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience is not required; candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply.

• Basic knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and peripherals.

• Strong interest in learning hardware integration and troubleshooting.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established priorities.

• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• A+ Certification is a plus and may qualify for additional pay.

• Ability to work effectively with team members and communicate information as needed.

Work Environment & Requirements

• May require standing for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Overtime may be required based on business needs.

• Position may require occasional travel.
