The Drop Technician will operate a vibratory plow/trencher, read, create, maintain schematics/diagrams and bore under sidewalks and driveways when appropriate. This position requires a self-starter that can work efficiently and independently to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work. They started where you are now and can help you build a strong foundation for a career that progresses as you do.Education: High School Diploma / GEDRelevant Work Experience:• 2-3 Years of Field Operations or Construction related experience.• 0-2 Years of experience in Broadband Plant Construction or burying of drops preferredEnvironmental Requirements:Factors affecting environmental conditions will vary depending on the assigned work area and task.• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.• Ability to carry and climb a 28' ladder from truck to pole and/or house.• Ability to work in an array of weather conditions.• Walking, sitting, kneeling & crouching for extended periods.• Driving.
