Database Architect Location: Saint Louis, MO 63131 (Onsite. Candidates willing to relocate to client’s location will be considered)Pay Range: 45/hr -50/hr on w2

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, structuring, and maintaining organizational data, primarily within relational database environments. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of critical data to support business operations and project initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Should be able to work Artech w2
- 5–10 years of experience in data architecture, database engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, XML, and other data-oriented languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to create and interpret data models, schemas, and diagrams.
- High level of technical competency with database technologies and data integration tools.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with data integration tools (ETL/ELT platforms) beyond core SQL.
- Workflow design/visualization skills for creating logical workflows and visual representations of data models.
- Performance optimization experience for ongoing improvements in data systems.
- Exposure to non-relational/other storage solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data architecture, data models, and data structures.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and availability of data across systems and platforms.
- Oversee the organization of data within relational databases and other storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to align data solutions with business needs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop logical workflows and visual representations of data models for review and implementation.
- Maintain strong adherence to data management best practices, policies, and standards.
- Support ongoing optimization and performance improvements in data systems.
