Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze technology spending, forecasts, actual results, trends, risks, and underlying cost drivers.
- Partner across Technology and Finance to improve budgeting, forecasting, and spend transparency.
- Analyze cloud consumption and identify opportunities to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
- Develop KPIs that measure Technology performance, operational health, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Design scalable dashboards and executive-level reporting for recurring Technology operating reviews.
- Translate complex technical, operational, and financial datasets into concise recommendations.
- Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, AI, Finance, and Procurement on operational improvement initiatives.
- Improve reporting automation, data quality, technology investment analysis, and operating-management processes.
- 4+ years of experience in Technology Business Management, Technology Operations, FinOps, Technology Finance, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a related technology-facing function.
- Experience analyzing operational and financial information within a Technology organization.
- Demonstrated experience designing KPIs, executive dashboards, and management reporting.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.
- Experience analyzing cloud consumption or technology-cost drivers.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience using modern AI/LLM tools to improve analytics, automation, reporting, or productivity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- AWS or other major cloud-platform cost-management experience.
- FinOps or cloud financial-management experience.
- Python.
- Power BI or Tableau.
- Financial-services or investment-management experience.
