Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead Data Integration with deep technical expertise in Talend and Snowflake to lead data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT data integration pipelines, managing enterprise data warehouses in Snowflake, and performing complex SQL transformations. This role requires a hands-on technical lead who can drive end-to-end data solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Integration & Pipeline Engineering: Lead the design, development, and execution of robust batch and real-time ETL/ELT integration processes using the Talend platform.
- Snowflake Data Warehousing: Architect, implement, and maintain scalable Snowflake data models, staging layers, schema architectures, and performance optimization workflows.
- Advanced SQL Development: Write, tune, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and analytical scripts for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
- Technical Leadership & Delivery: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) across data management tasks, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
- Data Quality & Support: Conduct data quality checks, reconciliation, error handling, performance tuning, and continuous monitoring of data integration pipelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
- 8 to 10+ years of total IT experience with a heavy focus on enterprise Data Integration and Data Warehousing.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Talend: Strong hands-on experience using Talend Data Integration / Big Data platform for building enterprise ETL/ELT jobs.
- Snowflake: Deep operational knowledge of Snowflake architecture, Snowpipe, data modeling, query optimization, and warehouse management.
- SQL: Advanced analytical SQL capabilities, data manipulation, and performance tuning skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Advanced experience with Talend Administration Center (TAC) or Cloud configurations.
- Hands-on knowledge of data build tools (dbt), Python scripting, or cloud services (AWS / Azure) integrated with Snowflake.
- Prior background in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
