Join Our Team as a Technology Transfer Specialist in Rochester, NY!
Are you ready to play a crucial role in the seamless transfer and implementation of cutting-edge medical technologies? We are seeking a dedicated Technology Transfer Specialist to join our team in Rochester, NY. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, ensuring the successful transition of production processes across manufacturing sites while maintaining high-quality standards and project timelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Tech Transfer deliverable checklists to ensure all requirements are met for product verification, validation, and launch.
- Align receiving site protocols and reports with manufacturing transfer plans to meet quality and compliance standards.
- Author and update Manufacturing Transfer Plans and Reports for alternate site implementations.
- Act as a liaison between current and new manufacturing locations to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and provided to alternate manufacturing locations.
- Collaborate with R&D and technical partners to ensure thorough knowledge transfer and training for new processes and tools.
- Support overall program execution by coordinating cross-functional activities and resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Tech Transfer, Operations, or Product Development/Support within a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in project management and ability to deliver against timelines.
- Experience with cGMP and external audits (e.g., FDA).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferences
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Mistake Proofing.
- Knowledge of QuidelOrtho's products and quality systems.
- Multi-disciplined validation experience (Process, Product, Method).
