Telecommunications Apprentice Technician

Indianapolis, IN

Are you looking to start a career in telecommunications? We are seeking a Telecommunications Apprentice Technician to support installation and maintenance projects while developing technical skills alongside experienced industry professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
Support electrical cabling, fiber optic installation, and equipment mounting activities.
Participate in daily safety and quality meetings.
Maintain organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Work under the direction of experienced technicians and team leaders.

Requirements

Strong desire to learn and grow in a technical field.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable transportation.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to travel occasionally based on project needs.
Availability to work overtime or weekends when required.
OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and proactive work ethic.

Working Conditions

Physical work that may include lifting materials, climbing structures, and working outdoors.
Occasional exposure to varying weather conditions, loud noise, and mechanical equipment.
