Description: MUST HAVE TRUE PSYCH EXPERIENCE IN AN INPATIENT PSYCH HOSPITAL OR PSYCH UNIT SETTING - MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH CHILDREN/ADOLESCENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO START 8/31 - NO EXCEPTIONS*Effective 6/24/2024, any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease Please include the candidates address or driver's license in the submission packet. Under general supervision, responsible for providing clinical/case management services to patients and their families in order to promote the optimal individual, interpersonal and social functioning of the patient and assure reintegration in to the community or the environment most suited to the patient s continued well being.RTO BLACKOUT DATES:

- Master s degree in Clinical Social Work from an accredited graduate school of Social Work or Master s degree in counseling or other behavioral health discipline - [REQUIRED]
- Social Worker must be registered on the Roster of Psychotherapists who are Nonlicensed and Noncertified with the State of Vermont Office of Professional Regulation via LICSW, LMFT, or LCMHC prior to employment - [REQUIRED]
- Must accept a flexible 40-hour work week scheduled to meet the needs of patients and families within the guidelines of the bargaining agreement - [REQUIRED]
- Must have true psych experience within the last 6 months (not just medical social work/case management) - [REQUIRED]
- 1-2+ years of inpatient social work experience - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES - [REQUIRED]
- Units must be listed on resume (Medical social worker, Behavioral health social worker, Long term care social worker, etc.) - [REQUIRED]
- RTO cannot exceed 7 days or holidays - [REQUIRED]
- Skills checklist (within the last year) - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
- 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
- Certifications - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
- Licensed in VT or willing to be registered on the Roster of Psychotherapists who are Non-licensed and Non-certified with the State of VT-willing to apply to the roster within 24 hours of accepting an offer - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
