Local Radius rule: 50 miles, 10% reduction to bill rate
Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply
HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
- NBO: 16 hrs
- EMR: EPIC
- OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
- Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
- On Call: /hr
- Charge/Precept: /hr
Billable OT:
- 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
- 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Avg. caseload Average 35-50 cases per day. Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes.Special equipment 3 Davinci robots. Use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma. We don t do many ortho joints. How many suites 16 OR s. Run from 12-14 routinely. As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.Service lines - Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures. Scrub or Circulate both would be preferred.Other the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.
- Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist

- circulating / operating room experience [required]
- scrub experience [highly preferred]
- experience in the following cases: General, davinci Robotics, Pediatrics and Trauma [required]
- additional experience in the following cases: (Neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, Ear, nose, throat, Vascular) [highly preferred]
- EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 3 years [required]
- Trauma Level I experience [highly preferred]
- Trauma level II experience [required]
- No 1st time travelers, must have completed a travel assignment within previous 15 mos. [required]
- Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current operating room experience [required]
- Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Operating Room Nurse, scrub/scrubbing) [required]
- Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required] [document]
- Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
- Driver s License [document] [required]
- AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS [required]
