Job Description

Title: Temp- Laboratory- Med Tech (MT) (Varied) Windsor, VTDescription: Client will not consider MLT Traveler Candidates

Your traveler will be expected to:

  • Work independently within two weeks of start date AND in a team setting
  • Obtain blood specimens
  • Maintain knowledge of specific specimen requirements
  • Follow correct order of draw based upon tube type and special handling of tests
  • Utilize proper resources for obtaining specimen requirement information
  • Collect and enter off-site blood work into system
  • Complete and process a variety of forms
  • Obtain pre-authorization and patient signature
  • Prepare specimens for in-lab testing or off-site shipment
  • Ensure blood-drawing stations are clean and well stocked
Patient Population: Pediatric to GeriatricEMR: CernerDress Code: Personal Scrubs of any colorTrauma Level: Critical Access Hospital
