What You’ll Do
  • Provide skilled, rehabilitative treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support patients through activities like ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices
  • Assess patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
  • Document treatment interventions accurately in electronic medical records
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on treatment plans and progress
  • Participate in care conferences, meetings, and training sessions as required
  • Support and supervise students under the guidance of the supervising therapist
  • Adhere to all professional practice acts, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
What You Need
  • Active Massachusetts OT Assistant licensure/registration
  • Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow detailed documentation procedures
  • Understanding of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy
