- Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Administer procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
- Monitor and document patient progress; communicate treatment adjustments to supervising therapists.
- Report treatment outcomes and provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and ongoing training sessions.
- Support in obtaining necessary supplies and DME as needed.
- Supervise and support OT students under supervisor guidance.
- Adhere to professional practice acts and ethical standards set by NBCOT, AOTA, and state regulations.
- Active State Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure/registration
- Proven experience working with physical and cognitive rehabilitation
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and documentation requirements
