What You’ll Do

• Provide medically necessary treatment interventions under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Support patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders through ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
• Document services accurately in electronic systems and maintain patient records securely
• Participate in care conferences, meetings, and training sessions
• Support patient and family education related to treatment plan and discharge planning
• Assist in obtaining necessary supplies and DME per clinical requirements

What You Need

• Valid and active State Licensure/Registration for Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adherence to NBCOT, AOTA, and state practice acts, ethics, and guidelines
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
