• Valid active state licensure or registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of clinical interventions, rehabilitative procedures, and assistive devices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members, patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ability to accurately assess patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ability to work under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and support student supervision when applicable.
• Knowledge of NBCOT / AOTA standards, ethical practices, and practice acts.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in Long Term Care or similar rehabilitation settings.
• Familiarity with modalities, therapeutic exercises, ADL retraining, and use of supportive devices.
• Additional certifications such as CPR or specialized rehabilitation training.
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from a recognized OTA program.
• Prior clinical experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care environment.

• Willingness to participate in training sessions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $38.86, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
