Temp - Occupational Therapist (OT) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days) Moore, OKJoin our dynamic team as a Temporary Occupational Therapist specializing in Long Term Care in Moore, OK. As an OT in this setting, you'll evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery, independence, and quality of life for patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning challenges. Your expertise will help patients regain skills, improve their functional abilities, and ensure they receive compassionate, evidence-based care.Required Skills:

• Valid NBCOT certification and a current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in evaluating patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with all regulatory and clinical standards.
• Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Knowledge of regulatory and rehabilitative procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supervising Occupational Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation aides, or students.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
• Additional training or certification in DME procurement or specialized therapy techniques.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a long-term care or similar setting.
• Current licensure and certification in good standing.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work day shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Willingness to participate in required meetings, trainings, and in-services.
• Reliable transportation or means to meet facility requirements if applicable.
• Compliance with all NBCOT, state, and federal practice acts, as well as company policies and ethical standards.
