What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled, medically necessary rehabilitative treatment for patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions and treatment plans.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices (as appropriate).
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments as needed.
• Report treatment outcomes and contribute input for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory requirements.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients and collaborate with families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system, including accurate treatment minutes.

What You NeedRequired

• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (when applicable)
