Your dedication will help us create a better quality of life for our residents every day.Required Skills:
- Valid LVN or LPN license with current state licensure
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to respond quickly to residents needs and changes in condition
- Proficiency in medication administration and treatments
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with nursing staff and assistants
- Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Knowledge of wound care, wound vacs, and complex medical equipment
- Familiarity with electronic health records and computerized medication administration systems
- CPR certification and other relevant certifications
- Graduation from an accredited LVN/LPN program
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- At least one year of relevant healthcare experience is ideal
- Own transportation is required due to a rural location, as public transportation options are limited
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and adhere to all facility policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations regarding medication storage, documentation, and resident safety
