Temp – PTA – Rehab (Days) Lawton, OKAre you a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference? We are currently hiring a Temporary Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team on dayshift. This vital role allows you to provide essential therapeutic services to a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. • Execute selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks following the directives of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Utilize modalities and exercises tailored to each patient's medical needs and approved treatment plan.
• Maintain a clean and organized department environment.
• Accurately document daily notes, treatment progress, and discharge data.

Required Skills:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Proficiency in administering physical therapy modalities and exercises.
• Strong understanding of patient care protocols and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow clinical instructions diligently.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with diverse patient age groups.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) documentation systems.
• Prior hospital or clinical outpatient experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Valid license and certifications in good standing.
• Ability to work dayshift hours as specified.
• Willingness to comply with all applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies.
