• Valid State Licensure/Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Strong knowledge of clinical interventions, therapeutic exercises, ADL retraining, and assistive device use
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to accurately assess patient progress and document all treatments and outcomes in compliance with regulations
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
• Ability to supervise students or support staff under therapist supervision

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Texas or eligible for licensure
• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Active state licensure/registration required
• Willingness to participate in facility meetings, trainings, and conferences
• Ability to work days on a consistent schedule starting June 8, 2026
