You will also help maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, support injured workers in regaining motor skills, and collect relevant patient information to inform treatment plans.Required Skills:

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and support patients through their recovery
• Basic documentation and record-keeping proficiency
• Compassionate attitude with attention to patient safety

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations
• CPR and First Aid certification

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited OTA program
• Previous experience working with elderly or disabled populations in a clinical setting

Other Requirements:

• Valid state licensure or certification in good standing
• Ability to work daytime hours consistently
• Willingness to work in a clinical environment that requires adherence to safety protocols
• No extensive travel required; local candidates preferred
