Temp - Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Behavioral Health (Ni...Join our dedicated healthcare team in a vital role supporting children in a dynamic inpatient behavioral health setting. As a Temp LVN/LPN, you will work amidst a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, high-quality care tailored to young patients with complex mental health and co-occurring disorders. This position is crucial in fostering a safe, nurturing environment that promotes healing, recovery, and resilience. Valid LVN/LPN license in the state
Proven experience working with children in clinical or behavioral health settings
Ability to float across various units, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Strong understanding of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and supervise Medical Help Workers (MHWs) as needed

Nice to Have Skills:

Prior experience in inpatient or pediatric behavioral health facilities
CPR and First Aid certification
Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols in mental health settings
Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or pediatric nursing
Experience with complex psychiatric care preferred

Other Requirements:

Ability to start on 05/11/2026 without exceptions
Willing to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime
Must include current address or drivers license information in submission
Candidates living within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease effective 6/24/2024
No travel restrictions unless specified
Must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations
