Occupational Therapy Assistant - Long Term Care in Lowell, MAAre you an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive facility?   • Experience: Prior LTC or rehabilitation experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $35.51

What You’ll Do
  • Support patients with rehabilitative and skilled treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices
  • Assess patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
  • Document all clinical interventions accurately in electronic health records
  • Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding cognitive and physical functions
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and scheduled facility reviews
  • Support the supervision of students and maintain compliance with practice acts and ethical standards
What You Need
  • Active state licensure/registration for Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
  • Prior experience working with older adults in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
