- Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices under supervision
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment for patients with cognitive and physical disorders
- Administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device support
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising Occupational Therapist
- Document all treatment and progress details accurately in electronic records
- Collaborate with health team members and patients families to optimize care outcomes
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and discharge planning activities
- Support and supervise students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to professional practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics
- Valid state license/registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
