The Sonographer collaborates closely with physicians to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions, ensuring accurate and timely imaging services.Key Responsibilities:

• Operate specialized ultrasound equipment emitting high-frequency sound waves to produce internal images vital for diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure clear and accurate imaging results.
• Accurately document and interpret sonographic images, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to discuss imaging findings and support clinical decision-making.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sonographer, with a focus on OB/GYN imaging.
• Certification from an accredited sonography program and current license or registration as required by state regulations.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound physics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures to patients.

Compensation:
