Job Description
OVERVIEWMarc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Temporary Design Coordinator to join the Runway Design team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in set up and maintenance of fabric and design boards
- Swatch fabric, lining, and trim options in midtown
- Pick up/deliver samples to factories
- Organize fit room
- Assist in preparation of cut tickets
- Simple hand-sewing projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Fashion design background preferred
- Experience in sample room and design ateliers preferred
SALARY&BENEFITS/WHATWEOFFER
The compensation for this position ranges from $20 (per hour). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, we offer our employees a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance.ABOUTMARC
