Efficient Legal Office Assistant Needed — Urgently hiring in Portland!Job Title: Temporary Office Assistant Pay: $20-$22 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Looking for a lifestyle/career benefit? You'll work directly with the lawyer and team to support daily legal processes and client interactions. What You'll Do As a Temporary Office Assistant, you will be responsible for:
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Filing legal documents
  • Typing into templates for court filings, following provided directions
  • Assisting with walk-in client visits and light traffic in the office
  • Supporting legal administrative tasks as needed — note: some legal background is preferred but not required, and a mature office administrator can quickly jump in
