Join a mission-driven, not-for-profit healthcare organization as a Temporary Pharmacy Technician in Brunswick, ME and make an impact every day.As a Temporary Pharmacy Technician, you'll support pharmacists in filling prescription orders from start to finish while delivering excellent customer service. You'll work closely with the Pharmacy team to deliver results that make a difference.What You'll Do As a Temporary Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Create and maintain accurate patient profiles (demographics, insurance, allergies, etc.) to support timely and accurate prescription processing*
- Assist with prescription fulfillment workflows, balancing quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment*
- Answer routine questions on drug coverage, pricing, availability, formularies, and pharmacy services using discretion and sound judgment*
- Support multiple pharmacy workstations as assigned (data entry, filling, shipping, call support, register, and inventory management)*
- Use electronic medical records to communicate with internal teams regarding refills, authorizations, and other non-clinical medication questions
- High school diploma or equivalent*
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred; medical setting experience and pharmacy terminology knowledge a plus*
- Active pharmacy technician license in the state youre applying for, or ability to obtain within 90 days*
- National pharmacy technician certification preferred
