Temporary Security Guard - Unarmed (4-6 Month Assignment, 7Pm - 7Am)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that only authorized individuals and vehicles enter the facility.
• Log information as required for facility entry and deliveries.
• Communicate company guidelines to contractors and document agreement to comply.
• Remain alert and focused at all times while on post.
• Diligently monitor surroundings for abnormal situations and take action, as needed.
• Enforce procedures to prevent theft of company and/or personal property.
• Enforce parking lot safety rules.
• Respond calmly, promptly, and effectively to plant emergencies.
• Follow company security guidelines.
• Manage phone systems.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
• Identify quality issues and attain established productivity standards.
• Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
• There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the

business because, with team-based manufacturing, production areas must be manned

for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require

additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule.

• This role is a temporary position (4-6 months) within our site where we have a team

approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success

and the safety of the team.

• The regular hours of the role are 7:00pm - 7:00am

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Currently licensed as an Unarmed Security Guard in good standing by the state of

Tennessee

• Ability to successfully complete TN Unarmed Security training annually.Position Description Effective 6/2/26
• Must successfully complete TBI/Criminal Background Check, pre-employment physical

exam, and drug screen.

• Previous experience in site security
• Ability to use Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the

ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative

and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and

other federal, state and local standards

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to

perform the job.

• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times throughout the shift.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
